Food for Thought with Dr. Rod Wilson

Join us for Food for Thought featuring Professor Rod Wilson (Clint’s brother), who serves as Associate Professor of Psychology at Covenant College in Georgia. His talk, “Neuropsychology And Faith: Why Our Bodies Matter for our Faith,” will be on Thursday, February 19. Rod has PhD in Clinical Neuropsychology, an MA in Theology, an MA in Clinical Psychology, and a BA in Religious Studies.
Neuropsychology continues to shed light upon the complex nature of human embodiment. Each aspect of our day to day lives is deeply grounded and shaped by our physical bodies and experienced in the theater of the mind, what we may call a self. This talk will highlight ongoing research on “embodied cognition” and discuss ways in which our Christian life is formed and informed as whole persons.
Registration cost is $14 for the event, which includes lunch catered by Gracious Plenty. Sign-ups are open, so reserve your spot on Realm today by clicking here!
