For more than 20 years, we have gathered on Tuesday mornings at 9:30 a.m. to dive into God’s word and to grow closer to one another through fellowship. Each session includes a one-hour lecture on the assigned passage, followed by an hour in small group discussion. For more information, please contact Mthr. Barbara.
All three of the world’s major religions trace their roots back to the same man: Abraham. Sometimes called “the father of faith,” Abraham is the leading man in some of the best known and most dramatic stories in the Old Testament, including the Binding of Isaac, Sodom and Gomorrah, and Hagar and Ishmael. But what do these fascinating (and sometimes troubling) stories have to do with us? Join us September 9 at 9:30 am for Tuesday Bible Study: The LORD Spoke to Abraham: Genesis 12-23. Far from being a collection of folk tales or simple fables, the Abraham narrative invites us into the mystery of God’s call, the definition of faith, and trust in the promise of Christ Jesus.
