The Order of the Daughters of the King (DOK) is a spiritual sisterhood of women dedicated to a life of prayer, service, and evangelism. The daughters have made a commitment to Jesus as their savior, and follow Him as Lord of their lives. They are dedicated to the extension of God’s kingdom and to the strengthening of the spiritual life of the parish. The St. Francis Chapter of the Daughters of the King is active in parish life and serves by assisting the Clergy, assisting with funerals, and other events both in and outside of our community. The chapter meets once a month, alternating between day and night meetings to accommodate for working members.
Membership in the Order is a lifelong commitment and requires a period of discernment and reflection on the DOK rule of life. Daughters can be identified by the small silver cross that they wear habitually. If you are interested in learning more about this order, please contact us.
