Youth Confirmation

Confirmation is the rite in which we express a mature commitment to Christ, and receive strength from the Holy Spirit through prayer and the laying on of hands by a Bishop. At St. Francis in the Fields, preparation for confirmation is open to all who are baptized and will at least in the 8th grade in the 2025-26 school year. If you would like to seek out confirmation, we ask that you commit to a process of instruction and formation that includes a year-long confirmation class held during the Sunday school hour each week.
