Rector’s Forum: God and the Nations according to Psalms and Ruth

This fall, join the Rector’s Forum “God and the Nations according to Psalms and Ruth,” a four-week study taught by Dr. Duane Garrett that explores how the Old Testament anticipates the nations coming to know the God of Israel. Through Psalms 96 and 97 and the book of Ruth, we will consider themes of true worship, conversion, faithfulness, kindness, integrity, and God’s work among the Gentiles. Along the way, we’ll look closely at Ruth’s remarkable story, its surprising cultural background, and its place in the unfolding story of God’s redemption.
