Food for Thought: WaterStep and the Power of One

Food for Thought continues on Thursday, October 15, with Mark Hogg, founder and CEO of WaterStep, a Louisville-based non-profit organization dedicated to providing safe water solutions globally.
Since its inception in 1995, WaterStep has transformed from a small service organization into a leader in safe water technology and innovation. Hogg’s vision includes developing simple tools and effective training to empower communities to address their own safe water and sanitation needs. His work has impacted over 70 countries and has been crucial in disaster response efforts. Hogg’s background as an ordained minister and his extensive international experience further enrich his leadership in fighting this global crisis. He will discuss how he built this life-saving organization while impacting 18 million+ people, and why the power of one is so important.
Cost is $15, which includes a box lunch from Gracious Plenty. Sign up beginning September 17 to reserve your spot!
