Our January recital and Choral Evensong will be Sunday, January 4, observing the Feast of the Epiphany. The recital features prize-winning organist Mitchell Miller, a doctoral student at the Eastman School of Music, playing music of Dethier, Langlais, Whitlock, and Wright. Our February organ recital and Choral Evensong will be Sunday, February 1, observing the Feast of the Presentation of Jesus in the Temple, commonly known as Candlemas. Choral Evensong is preceded by the traditional Candlemas Procession with blessing of candles. The Parish Choir sings music of Byrd, Near, Shephard, and Dearnley.
