The death of a spouse is one of the most disruptive events in life. In addition to experiencing grief, the surviving spouse must navigate a totally new world. If you are currently walking this road, consider joining us for “Holding Space,” an informal gathering of widows and widowers focused on prayer, mutual support, and friendship. It doesn’t matter how long you have been widowed—we’d love to have you join us. Our next meeting will be Wednesday, December 4, at 4:00 p.m. After a time of fellowship and conversation, we’ll gather for Evening Prayer in the chapel, and those who wish will be able to enjoy dinner together. Those who can’t make the first part of the evening are welcome to join when they can! No registration is required, but please let Mthr. Barbara (barbaraw@sfitf.org) know if you are planning to attend so we can ensure that we have enough space available.
