Join us for our March installment of Food for Thought featuring the Rev. Dr. Georgine Buckwalter, who will be speaking on “Living with Alzheimer’s Practically and Spiritually.” The Rev. Dr. Buckwalter is a retired adjunct professor at Louisville Presbyterian Seminary, the retired Chaplain of the Episcopal Church Home, and a founder and Board Member of the Kentuckiana Alzheimer’s Association. She led Alzheimer’s family support groups for the Association for 28 years in two Louisville long-term care facilities. She earned her Master’s from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and her doctorate from Sewanee: The University of the South. She has been published in various journals on aging and spirituality, and earned the Wayne Oates Spirituality Institute Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013.
