
The November installment of our popular luncheon series “Food for Thought” will feature Jessica Dawkins, Chief Executive Officer of Historic Locust Grove, Inc. Jessica has been a museum professional and local historian for nearly 20 years, with a focus on nineteenth century Ohio Valley history. She has worked at Farmington and the Portland Museum, and was the Southeast Regional Director for the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites, overseeing the Culbertson Mansion in New Albany, the Corydon Capitol, and the Lanier Mansion in Madison. She served as Deputy Director of the Kentucky Historical Society and most recently as the Executive Director of Liberty Hall Historic Site in Frankfort. She will discuss some of the history of early Louisville when she joins us on November 20.
