Food for Thought: Matt Spalding

March 21 @ 11:45 am - 1:00 pm

Food for Thought is a monthly speaker series for the whole community of Louisville. Each month during the academic year we gather for lunch and a guest speaker offering a presentation on a variety of interesting topics including history, art, sports, philanthropy, the environment, religion, and more. Cost to attend and lunch will be $18 for the 2023-24 programming year. This is a great event to invite a friend or neighbor to.

For March’s offering, we welcome Matt Spalding, Director of Land Stewardship for the Olmsted Parks Conservancy. Matt has been with Olmsted 16 years and works in the parks almost every day. He conducts Park Steward training, a 6-week program on Frederick Law Olmsted, the history of our park system, and the history of the Olmsted organization. He is a fabulous public speaker, well versed in Olmsted park history, and brings a great energy to every talk!

You can sign up and pay on Realm by clicking the button below!
