SUMMARY:Gethsemane Watch
DESCRIPTION:This year during Holy Week\, we are reprising our “Gethsemane Watch” from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. the night of Maundy Thursday. In honor of our Lord’s commandment to his disciples to “keep watch” while he prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane\, we are encouraging parishioners to sit—in designated chunks of time—with the sacred elements of bread and wine through the course of Thursday night.

SUMMARY:Rector's Forum: Virtue and Vice
DESCRIPTION:What actually moves us—toward goodness or toward disordered desires? The Christian tradition understands virtues and vices not merely as “good habits” and “bad habits\,” but as expressions—healthy or disordered—of deeply human desires. In this seven-week Rector’s Forum\, we will explore the classic virtues and vices as a mirror held up to our own lives\, helping us better understand what makes us tick. \nFramed within the lifelong\, Spirit-empowered process of “Sanctification\,” this class will invite participants into deeper self-knowledge\, greater wisdom\, and a more peaceable way of life. By attending carefully to character\, habit\, and desire\, we will consider how God\, by grace\, turns us from vice toward virtue\, and forms us more fully into the likeness of Christ. \nThe class meets for seven weeks\, from February 8 through March 22\, and is open to all who desire to grow in spiritual maturity and intentional Christian living.

SUMMARY:Sacramental Reconciliation and Spiritual Direction
DESCRIPTION:This Lent\, our clergy will be offering opportunities for Reconciliation and Spiritual Direction in the chapel. The Rite of Reconciliation is a pastoral offering from the Book of Common Prayer—a longstanding practice within our Episcopal tradition. It is never required\, but it can be a meaningful part of a deeper Lenten journey for those who desire prayerful conversation\, spiritual counsel\, or the grace of speaking aloud what weighs on the heart. \nIf you are seeking guidance\, peace\, or a renewed sense of God’s mercy this season\, you are warmly invited to participate. Please select an available time at this link. If you would like help preparing for the rite of reconciliation\, or have questions\, please contact Fr. Clint or Mthr. Barbara.
