DESCRIPTION:This summer\, join us for an in-depth study entitled “Total Forgiveness\,” held in Graves Hall before our 10:00 a.m. worship service on Sunday mornings. Our leader\, the Rev. Dr. Thomas P. Sweets\, has served as a Pastor/Head of Staff in the Presbyterian Church (USA) for 42 years and he teaches regularly on Sunday mornings at Second Presbyterian Church. The textbook is Total Forgiveness: When Everything in You wants to Hold a Grudge\, Point a Finger\, and Remember the Pain—God Wants You to Lay it All Aside\, by R.T. Kendall. Rev. Sweets says\, “This study has been one of the most transformative books I have read in years. It has certainly led to a greater depth of discipleship and spiritual maturity.” Some copies of the book will be available in the vestibule for $10.00 each or you can order the book online. \nReading in preparation for the class will enhance the material\, but this is not required.
