Candlemas Procession and Choral Evensong

Sunday, February 2, marks the Feast of the Presentation of Jesus, also known as the Feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It is the culmination of the forty-day Christmas-Epiphany season. Bring your candles to be blessed by the clergy, and we will begin our service of Choral Evensong with a traditional Candlemas procession in the narthex. The pre-service recital will be performed by Organ Scholar Hayden Ives-Glasgow.
