Build-a-Bed

Calling all Build-a-Bed donations and volunteers! We are gearing up for another Build-a-Bed on Sunday, August 24, and are actively seeking donations and volunteers for this wonderful event! We are looking for volunteers to assist Saturday, August 23, starting at 9:00 a.m., with our “wood preparation” time. The lumber we will use in our build needs to be cut into various sizes and sanded beforehand. If you are interested in helping in this way, please join us—and if you have a hand sander, please bring it along!

We are also accepting monetary donations to cover the cost of lumber, which you can contribute online—the total we will need to raise is $5,000—and donations of new twin sheets, pillows, teddy bears, diverse books, toothpaste, and toothbrushes. We would like 30 of each listed item so that each child who receives a bed can have a “bed blessing bag” to go with it! Please deposit your physical donations in the white bin in the Narthex.
