Christians have used images to aid in prayer of the invisible God from the earliest days of the Church. This Advent, you are invited to learn more about icons, how we use them for prayer, and what they reveal about the Word Made Flesh in our 3-week Wednesday Night series “Advent: Icons in Conversation.” We will spend some time examining icons of the Incarnation and return of Christ, learning about their history and use, and discussing them in small groups. No previous study or small group experience is necessary! This series begins on December 4 at 6:30 p.m. in Graves Hall. For more information, please contact Mthr. Barbara.
