SUMMARY:The Big Story
DESCRIPTION:This year in Sunday School\, our Middle Schoolers will walk through the whole Bible from start to finish. They will get to know God’s great story for all of creation and how they are a part of it! The Bible can be intimidating and overwhelming. By opening our Bibles each week and looking at each book from a 30\,000ft view\, we hope that the Bible will be less of “that really big book\,” and more of “my constant companion” and “the big story that is my story.” Join us in the Vicarage on Sunday mornings from 10:15 to 11:00 a.m.

SUMMARY:Rector's Forum: Virtue and Vice
DESCRIPTION:What actually moves us—toward goodness or toward disordered desires? The Christian tradition understands virtues and vices not merely as “good habits” and “bad habits\,” but as expressions—healthy or disordered—of deeply human desires. In this seven-week Rector’s Forum\, we will explore the classic virtues and vices as a mirror held up to our own lives\, helping us better understand what makes us tick. \nFramed within the lifelong\, Spirit-empowered process of “Sanctification\,” this class will invite participants into deeper self-knowledge\, greater wisdom\, and a more peaceable way of life. By attending carefully to character\, habit\, and desire\, we will consider how God\, by grace\, turns us from vice toward virtue\, and forms us more fully into the likeness of Christ. \nThe class meets for seven weeks\, from February 8 through March 22\, and is open to all who desire to grow in spiritual maturity and intentional Christian living.

SUMMARY:Sacraments 101: Holy Communion
DESCRIPTION:This February\, High School Sunday School will continue its overview of the sacraments. In Advent\, we studied baptism. Now we will study Holy Communion. What do we call it? What is it? What do the words that we say even mean? How does the Bible talk about it? These are all questions that we will take 3 weeks to break down and investigate together.
