Food for thought is a community outreach ministry aimed at (but not exclusive to) age 50+. This series is held once a month on Tuesdays from 11:45 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Food For Thought will be catered by Haymarket by Ashbourne Farms. The cost of the luncheon is $12.
Elizabeth McCall, Assistant Master Distiller, Woodford Reserve will present “Woodford Reserve and Whiskey 101”
Plus… a Bourbon Tasting! Elizabeth will lead us through a lively discussion of “What is Whiskey”, “What makes bourbon different”, “Trends in the bourbon industry” and more, ending with a bourbon tasting where she will teach us to properly nose and taste bourbon to best experience the flavor.
