Confirmation is an opportunity for people to make an adult commitment to Jesus Christ. Anyone is welcome to confirmation after the 8th grade. Our youth will go through a confirmation class in the 8th grade.
The goal of confirmation can be put succinctly as: knowing what you believe and why you believe it. Specifically, knowing what you believe about Jesus Christ and his life, death, and resurrection for the world. Confirmation classes learn and grow together toward their first profession to live as disciples of Jesus Christ. Over the course of 8 months of fellowship and study we will look at what Christians believe and confess about Jesus Christ and how our faith in him translates into a faithful life in the world. 2017-2018 confirmation classes will begin in the vicarage at St. Francis on September 10th at 10:15 am.
Confirmation will take place on May 20th at the 10:00 am service.
