Each year in the Fall, the Youth Group goes on a retreat together.
A church retreat is something magical. It is a time to bond with others in the Youth Group and form lasting, Christ-centered relationships with youth and adults alike. We hope that your children will join us for this action-packed weekend filled with Bible study, games, community building, singing, and fun.
The theme for this year's Fall Retreat is the "Great Exchange".
The Great EXCHANGE: Radically embrace the power of the “exchanged life. In every exchange, something must be given up in order for something to be gained. At the heart of the Gospel there is a single, powerful exchange that occurred when a flawless Savior took the flaws of humanity to the cross, exchanging His life for ours. Ephesians 2:4-5 says “But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions – it is by grace you have been saved". But this one exchange actually empowers countless exchanges in the lives of those who will believe and follow. Death for Life. Self for Christ. Hate for Love. Comfort for Calling. This year we will explore the theme “The Great Exchange.” The Great Exchange will help us to see the Gospel and its impact on our lives through the lens of these exchanges. We’ll understand how much we stand to gain by simply giving up.
