tuesday bible study

Join The Rev. Dr. Jady Koch for our winter study of Paul’s letter to the Galatians! Come join us in the winter for our TBS.

Of all the books of the bible, it is not an understatement to say that Paul’s letter to the Galatians has had as much influence on the course of Christian history as any other. In this relatively short letter, the Apostle Paul explains how the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus radically re-orients the life of a Christian in ways that profoundly affect his or her relationship to God, to him/herself, and to the world. It is not an overstatement to say that when you understand Galatians, then you understand the Gospel, and if you understand the Gospel, you’ll understand the Bible, and if you understand the Bible, you’ll rightly know God and his amazing grace for the world.

As usual, there will be two offerings: TBS Express at 7:15 a.m. and TBS at 9:30 a.m. No prior experience (or even bible ownership!) is necessary.

7:15 - 8:30 a.m. in Graves Hall for TBS Express (lecture only).

8:45 - 9:15 a.m. in Davenport Chapel for Morning Prayer.

9:30 - 11:30 a.m. in Graves Hall for TBS Lecture and small group break-out time.
          * If you wish to attend the lecture only from 9:30-10:30, please register for that during the registration process.
