Worship Repertoire

Throughout the history of the church, composers having been writing special music to enrich the liturgies of the church. For the service of Holy Communion, this involves composing music for the “ordinary” of the mass, or the texts that are spoken or sung at every Eucharist. These include the Kyrie (Lord, have mercy upon us), Gloria (Glory be to God on high), Credo (We believe in one God), Sanctus and Benedictus (Holy, holy, holy… Blessed is he who comes), and Agnus Dei (Lamb of God).
