rector's forum

The Rector's Forum follows the 8:00 a.m. service at 9:00 a.m. in Graves Hall. Come each week for a lecture on current events and topics of the day as well as how Scripture should inform our views.

Also, special Rector's Forums are offered throughout the year as special speakers present on a variety of missions, topics and interests to the community of St. Francis.

Stay posted for when the Rector's Forum comes back around!

In an interview from 1966, Karl Barth is reported to have said, "The Pastor and the Faithful should not deceive themselves into thinking that they are a religious society, which has to do with certain themes; they live in the world. We still need--according to my old formulation--the Bible and the Newspaper." Structured around that vision, our Rector's Forum is intended to help bring the great truths of the Christian faith to bear on the lived lives of everyday people.
