The 2017 Apologetics Conference will take place September 15-16 at St. Francis in the Fields. We will be hosting Josh and Sean McDowell’s Heroic Truth Experience, a series of intergenerational experiences designed to equip adults, students, parents, and educators to better understand the truth of Christianity and how to defend our faith.
We live in a culture that is becoming increasingly dismissive and even hostile to the gospel and the Christian faith. The truth of the Christian faith is disputed in our postmodern culture and the message of the gospel is considered irrelevant, especially in secular colleges and universities. This goes beyond a “culture war” about social and moral values. There is a clash of worldviews—of fundamental perspectives on reality. In this cultural situation, we need to learn how to “contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints” (Jude 1:3). Josh and Sean McDowell will help us get a good start to this ongoing endeavor.
The cost for this conference is $10.
