2026 Habitat Episcopal Kick-Off and Build
This summer, you are invited to take place in our first Habitat for Humanity home build in many years! The “Raise the Roof” kick-off event will be June 24 through 26 at the work site (see the Realm event for details) from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Volunteers are warmly welcomed and encouraged to continue building and assisting with construction tasks for up to 16 weekends thereafter.
Habitat for Humanity of Metro Louisville are on a mission to combat housing insecurity in our area. One third of all Louisville families experience economic and personal instability because of a lack of permanent quality housing. By partnering with Habitat and constructing this home together from the ground up, we will help a family achieve the strength, peace, and self-reliance they need to build a better life for themselves, and fulfill our Commandment to love our neighbors in a tangible way.
