New Grand Piano Given to St. Francis
In Memory of Ed Land

Caroline and David Eager have given a Weber grand piano to St. Francis in the Fields in memory of Charles Edward Land.  Those who knew him recognized that Ed epitomized the spirit of St. Francis in welcoming visitors and newcomers to the parish in a unique and wholehearted way.  His infectious smile and genuine interest in others attracted many and drew us all together in Christian love.

Ed also sang tenor in the choir for many years, and the new piano is a welcome addition to the choir room. The instrument will aid in the weekly preparation of music for worship.  Members of St. Francis in the Fields, and especially those involved in the music program, offer sincere thanks to Caroline and David for this very generous gift.
