·   At St. Francis in the Fields, we believe the Every Member Canvass is not about simply raising money. It is about helping  people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord of life. Lord of life means Lord of all our life which includes our wallet. Giving is a demonstration then of our trust and faith and growth in our relationship with Jesus Christ. It is that simple.

 ·   At St. Francis in the Fields, we believe this is an Every Member Canvass. We look forward to everyone participating in some way, shape, or form. This year, you will find a “Time/Talent” sheet included with the Canvass. This is our way of encouraging everyone’s participation. It is that simple.

·   At St. Francis in the Fields, we believe “every home is a little church.” Through the generosity of the home and through the generosity of the church a partnership is formed that makes for a stronger community. We need each other. It is that simple.

    On October 4, the Feast of St. Francis, all families were invited to come forward and place their pledge on the altar. In the event you were not able to be here on October 4th, you may either mail your pledge card to the parish office or see below on how to complete your form online.

   The Vestry and staff at St. Francis in the Fields recently engaged in a process of study called—you guessed it—the Simple Church! Our vision and mission and strategy are all designed to communicate a simple message of God’s redeeming love that begins in the home. Home is not simply where the heart is; home is where Christ is. That is why every home is like a little church.

   Again, I really do feel privileged to lead the Every Member Canvass and I hope you will join me as we grow together in our relationship with Jesus Christ.
