Dear Friends,
We welcome you to St. Francis in the Fields as we worship God together.
Those baptized are invited to receive communion at our services. If you have not been baptized and wish to be, please call one of our clergy to arrange for instruction and a time for baptism. Our clergy, staff, and Welcoming Team are glad to meet with newcomers who are making a decision about membership and may be interested in joining our parish. If you would like to meet with one of us, please call the parish office.
We have an active parish beyond our worship services. Our Christian education programs for adults, youth and children are offered on Sunday mornings and through the week. Our outreach program extends our parish hand from the west end of Louisville to the mountains of Appalachia and beyond, offering many volunteer opportunities. Information about our current programs and events may be found in the weekly Sunday leaflet, in our monthly parish newsletter, The Canticle, and on this website.
We welcome you to join our parish family … and as you come, bring the gift of “new eyes.” You may notice an area of ministry conspicuous in its absence. Please share your thoughts with us and let us know how we may support you. As a visitor, or even as a long-time parishioner, we hope to hear from you.
